Riley made me a beautiful framed picture at pre-kinder. My first school made gift, i absolutely adore it and will treasure forever. Along with a sweet home made card, a gift voucher, lots of love hugs and kisses! Oh and hubby made us the best pancakes for breakie, yum!
I couldn't be happier!
I decided after a morning out it would be nice to do some baking, we made hummingbird cupcakes with cream cheese icing! So delicious! { let me know if you want me to post the recipe, they are amazing! }
Topped them off with some sweet little tissue paper flowers i had made while the kids were sleeping. I think they look like chrysanthemums, what do you think?
I had a great day. Admittedly the kids were a bit wild, mostly due to the amount of sugar consumed and the terrible weather we had in Melbourne, they were stuck inside for most the day.
But i love them, i love just being with them, they made the day special for me in there own way, buliding me lego towers, singing happy birthday to me { don't think they quiet grasped the whole mothers day verse mum's birthday thing, understandably! } showering me in love, slobber and snot. I feel very spoilt and blessed to have such a gorgeous family! Thank you for being so awesome!

We had a nice, easy going Mother's Day here. Plenty of family time and some good outdoor play in the afternoon sunshine. Nice.
That's some baking! Those cakes look beautiful... too good to eat. It was all hands on deck in our garden yesterday, the girls pushing their wheelbarrows around, raking this, digging that. Peaceful... gxo
