  2. Awww what gorgeous photos and what a delightfully pretty little party, for a beautiful little lady. You're a fab decorator Jody... and yes, pink and yellow is a great combo!
I've almost decided not to go in for the big 1st birthday for Felix. I will have a celebration, bake a cake, but might just keep it low key with us. Takes away some of the stress I'll be feeling with returning to work the week after anyway. Party prepping is FULL ON.

  4. Those photos are just gorgeous. And you obviously have an eye for decorating. You're inspiring me for my second daughter's first birthday that's coming in just four months. Oh my goodness, I can't believe I'm writing that! FOUR MONTHS! Ahhh! ;)

  7. Thank you ladies! I'll be honest.. it was HARD work, you see i am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to these things, i HAD to do everything myself! Crazy i know, but lots of fun! will have to add a photo of the invites and party bags i made too! xx

  8. Oh wow looks like you created a perfect day for her.
The yellow and pink work so perfectly together. Oh and those tulips, stunning.
Did you make the cake yourself? Is it a rainbow cake? I'm curious because I'm contemplating attempting one for Blake's circus themed party in September.

  9. Rebekah i am dying to try and make a rainbow cake! This is just my standard hummingbird cake recipe {i felt like it was a healthier option and i could happily let Lyla eat as much as she wanted!!} i doubled and stacked it on top of each other to get that effect, was super tasty! let me know if you want the recipie :) Can't wait to see Blakes circus party!!
