Grateful . .

This week i am simply grateful for music. It has the ability to lift ones soul and change a mood in nothing more than a beat. I love music. It is healing and soothing. I can loose myself in the words and be me.

It amazes me that such a simple thing can change life so drastically. The sound of the music, the lyrics, the rhythm.

I heard this song whilst out today and was reminded of how much i love it. Such an awesome song, i just had too share it with you.

It reminds me that i can be me, myself. I don't need to be something i'm not.. i can go my own way.

For this i am grateful.

What have you been listening to this week? what songs have touched you?

I am joining the lovely maxabella, you can join in too..

Have a good weekend lovelies,

x jody

  1. I haven't heard Fleetwood Mac in such a long time, but there was a patch in my life where I was totally into them.

At the moment I am embracing Lover Seeker Keeper. I love those three as solo artists and I am LOVING them together. x

  6. My iPod is filled with music that represents every part of my life over the last ten years - it's funny now, sometimes I'll be at the gym, and I'll listen to a song that is connected to a difficult time in the past, but now the song makes me happy. It's amazing how much of your thoughts and feelings you can put into, and get out of, music. And absolutely you can go your own way - I'm right there behind you! Hope you have a lovely weekend. xx
