It's Begining to Look a lot Like Christmas

Our tree is finally up. We spent the day shopping, decorating and listening to carols. The house smells of pine. And now it really feels like Christmas is upon us.

I don't like tinsel. I couldn't get the kiddies to sit still for a decent photo in front of the tree. I love our mix matched decorations. Lyla hated the tree in the car, now she can't keep away from it. No Santa photo for us this year, queue was too long for me. I love my new Mexican tin Angel. I love Christmas but am not quiet ready. But Almost.

Are you ready?

  5. I am part of the no-tinsel club too.. ha. Kids love to touch it at the shops but don't care that it's not on our tree. Really gorgeous Jody, she's a beauty! And your angel I spied on Instagram, divine! The little ones are divine too x

  6. LOVE the smell of pine... we had a real tree every year when I lived at home... but have never had one of my own since I moved out as an adult, one year we'll get one!
Gorgeous pics Jody, all so special. I can see your babes have really gotten into the spirit and I think the shots in front of the tree are perfect... exactly how you'd want them to look I think xo

  7. Your tree looks lovely, and what could be better than fresh pine wafting through the house? Actually now I look at it again, you would almost need a ladder in put the angel up...now that is a true chrissie image:)

  8. Gorgeous tree and I love that smell of pine in the house too. That angel is divine! I can't wait to do the decorations with the little ones here, although they're tinsel fans so our tree will be a fun, messy one ;) xx

  9. I'm ready! And also very jealous of your real pine tree - it looks absolutely gorgeous. The angel is just the cherry... I mean, angel on top!?

I want to be a 'real' pine tree gal, but I cannot abide the smell as they start to 'turn'. I mean, I am really, really sensitive to it. So I don't think I would go so well. My dad planted me a real little pine tree one year and even that died a sad death in the living room on 24 December. I have no luck, so I have plastic. x

Love you like crocheted (??) humpty decoration.

And super cute photos of the kids in front of the tree. We are braving Santa photos tomorrow. But only because they kids asked otherwise I think I would by pass it this year too...
