I have been a bit quiet here this week and I am not completely sure why. Things are pretty good, pretty well normal I guess. Spending a little more time with the kiddies and in the kitchen and on instagram. Riley was really distraught at kinder drop off this morning, but went on to have a great time. Lyla has got the tantrum throwing down to a tea, but I'm trying not to pay any attention to that. It's all a little time consuming and draining some days. But other than that things are great. I just don't think I have much to say, but you can look at some photos of my little ones anyways...

They are such gorgeous little people! Promise the drop offs and the tantrums become easier xx
ReplyDeleteWe had a similar week! It's a new lifestyle with the 3 year old's in kinder for part of the week! I kind of feel like I'm still waiting to get in to the swing of things, but it's a good stage I think! Loving seeing my 16 month old's personality coming through without his louder older brother around!!!
ReplyDeleteI adore these photos-you have two beautiful, sparkly eyed kiddies!!!!
xoxoxo
they are delicious. the second photo of Lyla.. oh I could just eat her! I know some weeks are like that hey - neither here nor there. ruby isn't a tantrum thrower, but she could have won an award for it this afternoon - at Doncaster shopping centre.. the kind where you feel the other mothers' eyes boaring through the back of your head... fun times. xx
ReplyDeleteSometimes pictures are enough. x
ReplyDeleteWhat a pair of cuties. We went through a stage last year where Lola cried at preschool drop-off every time she went, but always had a great day. I think they work themselves up to it out of habit, especially if other little ones are doing it. Hope it gets better x
ReplyDeleteLook how much they love each other! So special.
ReplyDeleteTake it easy xo
Maybe Lyla is missing her big brother when he's at Kinder. Tantrums might be her way if coping with the change. I think my little one was a bit lost when his sister started school. I hope Riley settles into drop off time soon for you. It's nice when you get reports that they are fine when you go though. Nothing worse than hearing they were upset the whole time.
ReplyDeleteThey really are just so gorgeous Jody. I love how L has a protective arm over her big brother. :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the quiet. It's a nice change from the pace of life. xx
Seeing your babies always makes me smile Jody. It's nice to catch up on the posts I've missed of late xo
