And So I Ran

Today when the little ones woke, just before 7am, I quickly bundled them into bed with hubs. I chucked on some clothes and my runners. I grabbed my phone, headphones and Archie then headed out the door before I even had time to think or reconsider jumping back into my warm bed to snuggle with my babes.

Archie and I headed across the road to the big park oval type thing, I vaguely remember going there once or twice before. We did a couple of laps, I even ran and then I had to carry him a little.

This is a new thing for me. Exercise. I really hope its not a one off and that I can drag my butt out of bed again tomorrow morning, I so need to.

  3. Oh well done Jody!! Resisting the temptation to jump back in bed and snuggle is always the hardest part for me.
    Have fun with it!

  4. Nice one Jody! High 5's! I did the same yesterday, except my dog sort of dragged me, which made the hills a bit easier :)

  6. Good on you Jody! I'm right there with you... virtually and in spirit of course... as I have just started doing the early morning exercise routine too. It's SO hard and every inch of my being tells me to go back to sleep or get up and have a bowl of muesli and yoghurt and exercise tomorrow. BUT it does feel good afterwards... and you have the adorable Archie by your side, which has to help! xo

  7. Good for you! Exercise in the morning has always been hard for me. Well, atleast when it's cold outside. I love an early morning walk in the summer.
