The rainy day game

Of course we are all sick now, since I wrote this this. It's typical isn't it? I spent most of the week pretending my little cold didn't exist, refusing to let it take hold, the little ones were the same, it's like we were sick but not really sick if you know what I mean? They slept more and coughed here and there but pretty much proceeded as usual. Today it hit us with full force, hubs included. Nothing better for it than to spend the day together in our jarmies. We rested and drank tea, watched movies with the kiddies, read and played. We even had a bit of afternoon hide and seek aswell as play the rainy day game {you know the one where you hide an object and the others have to find it?} It was relaxing just to be together, even with the coughing and runny noses. It was just what we needed. And I think the next few days will be spent similarly.
