Lyla wears - Peggy

Gorgeous Melbourne based girls label Peggy recently sent Lyla some stunning dresses, hats and kaftans. I have loved Peggy ever since Lyla was little, in fact she has worn their dresses for both her first and second birthdays. I was delighted when they arrived. Such soft fabrics and beautiful vintage inspired prints. Lyla loved them equally as much. For more info and stockists, check them out here.

To share to love and this beautiful label, I have two gorgeous Peggy hats to giveaway! {please note that both are size 18-24 months only} You can choose between pink floral {not pictured} or white and navy spot. Just let me know your choice below in the comments. Spread the word and I'll draw the winners next Thursday 7th June.

Loved everything about our weekend. Lots of laughs and yummy food with friends over on Saturday night. A big walk and bike ride on Sunday, family time and fun, followed by an amazing dinner in Richmond with my brother. And that duck! Loved the Peking duck!

Happy Monday lovelies!

{point +shoot} a city adventure

We decided to have a quiet weekend with just the four of us after having visitors for the last three weeks its just what we needed. We made no plans, actually we might have, we just didn't keep them. I worked on Saturday, like usual, and came home to my three favourite people, still in their jarmies, in the kitchen making dough for homemade pizzas, yum! Love cosy, stay at home pizza and movie night.

Sunday hubs suggested we head in to the city for a little adventure, something we rarely ever do. Actually I don't even think the little ones have ever really been to the city before. So we all piled on the train and ventured into the city. It was the kiddies first train trip, they loved it and I loved seeing their little faces light up with excitement!

From there we hoped off at Flinders St and just went for a big walk, we headed over the yarra, stopped for some lunch in Alexandra gardens then popped over to the NGV. Another new experience for the little ones, the childrens gallery was loads of fun and surprisingly empty which was even better! After we walked some more, stopped for coffee and explored all the city had to offer. We then headed back to the train and made the exciting trip home. I think that was the kiddies favourite part of the day!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend,

xx jody

A quiet house

Today, after three weeks of family staying with us, they have all gone. It was so lovely to have family here, but I must admit it is nice to have a quiet house once again. Although the kiddies are missing their Uncle K, my littlest brother, they got used to having him around, as did I. I actually haven't spent that much time with him since I left home and he was seven. I didn't realize I missed him so much, but I did, so I really enjoyed his company and the time we spent together. He is such a sweet, kind and intelligent young man. We loved having him here, kiddies were looking for him all day today in his absence and Lyla kept saying 'wake up K?!' it was very cute.

But saying that, I am oh so looking forward to a quiet weekend with my little family. Just the four of us.

What have you got planned? I hope your weekend is everything you want it to be.

{snap it} inside

Autumn has made it's way inside this week, with these sweet little hanging type things Riley made at kinder.
I love all the hand made goodies he comes home with, they are always sure to brighten my day.

Hope your having a lovely day.

{point + shoot} Mothers Day

{This was our attempt to get a decent photo of me and the kiddies.}

I had such a fabulous mothers day yesterday, a sleep in, pancakes and tea in bed lovely presents, handmade cards and little treasures. After a slow start we hit the pool and stopped in to our favourite op shop on the way home. We all napped again in the afternoon and then headed out for an early dinner with my brothers.
I was spoiled with extra special kisses and snuggles and loved the relaxing day with my family, simply nothing better.

I hope you had a lovely day too!
